Hi there! I'm Ashlyn Motsenbocker, a filmmaker from Dallas, Texas. I’ve spent the past six years as a video editor and the past eight years developing my eye behind the camera as a photographer.

Editing served as the foundation for my love of cinema. It trained me to think in rhythm & understand how sound design can completely shift the meaning of even a single frame. That instinct now shapes everything I create. Whether I’m shooting a narrative film or capturing a still frame, I do my best to prioritize being intentional.

I’m currently completing my undergraduate degree at Colorado State University and plan to pursue graduate study in film as I continue to refine & better my craft. My creative work is rooted in emotion and identity. I’m drawn to stories that feel personal, not just aesthetic, and strive to make art that audiences can deeply connect to.
